I've settled on a combination of both my host's stats service (godaddy) and statcounter. I find that Godaddy gives me aggregate data that allows me to measure traffic growth and other long-term trends. However, for day to day stats, statcounter gives me a good idea of how many visitors I get each day and where they come from. The only drawback is that I only get reports on the last 100 visitors. I don't think I have much more utility from subscribing.

So, how do you track stats on your blog, or do you track them at all?

Not all of the blog statistics software give you all the information. However there's a couple that do. Try Google Analytics or pMetrics. I recommend pMetrics it's more friendly.

I'm using a combination of Google Analytics and AwStats on my server. They're actually pretty close. I use feedburner to track subscribers of my blogs RSS feed. I've thought about purchasing Mint. I've heard great things about it.
