If you haven't noticed, we have a new look for the web site. There's a lot more video we wanted people to access easily and there's a lot more information. We added a mobile site with 3gp video.

There's still more additions. But this is a quick note about it. I don't know if you noticed, but I included in the RGV New Media badge on the KRGV on the web page.

We're working on some big changes. You might've already noticed the new on-air graphics and the scrolling news ticker on the bottom of the screen. More changes ahead, which is why I never get a chance to post.

Once everything's launched, hopefully I'll have a chance regularly post blogs and video.

So please forgive the long lapses between posts.

NEWSCHANNEL 5 reporters Will Ripley and Polo Sandoval, along with photojournalist Gene De La Cruz, drove to Denver to cover the Democratic National Convention. After that, they headed to Minnesota for the Republican National Convention.

Along the road and between filing stories, they recorded video blogs.
